Students have studied contour line drawing and will practice hand drawings in contour. This direct observation practice really improves drawing skill. Students are to practice line shading techniques inside the hands.  The 2nd page of this handout shows examples of this process.

Here you will find handouts I have given out in class. This includes links to sketchbook assignment sheets and any handout needed for assisting you with assignments.

Monster Madness (Due for 3-Day 10/31 & 2 Day 10/30)

Students will be creating their own monsters and use texture to create fur, scales, slime or what have you for their monsters.  4 monsters are required by the end of October and this will be worth 4 sketchbook grades.  Students who draw in the habitats of their monsters will earn more credit. Creativity is important in this assignment. DO NOT copy monsters that already exist (like Monsters Inc.)

We have switched over to a school based website for assignments and I am now posting all work at the school site.  Link to my SFMS Page Here.
