Art Rubric

 

While each project in art has it's own rubric, this is the standard way I grade art. So much of art is simply putting in the effort to make the work the best you can do.  This effort is demonstrated not by how beautiful your picture is but whether you tried and worked to your full potential.  This is evident in classroom behavior, attention to the objectives and good use of time in class. I do not grade by comparing my students' work.  I look at the effort of each individual child and whether they are working to their personal potential.
